Visiting the House of Representatives on Monday, October 14, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb, indicated that the prices of 169 medications additional costs will be reduced.
The minister specified that the reduction will be recorded after the publication of the list in the official bulletin, adding that the percentage of the price reduction will reach nearly 59% for certain medications for the treatment of chronic diseases.
The minister also noted that the prices of all medicines have fallen following their exemption from domestic and import VAT, specifying that the prices of some 4,500 generic drugs fell, and that this measure was carried out in conjunction with the manufacturers.
