Laurent Rouyer, president of the Chamber of Agriculture, welcomes this ambitious project on France Bleu Sud Lorraine. But he asks for guarantees.
For now, not all sectors are ready to respond to demand. That of market gardening, for example, needs to be reconsolidated. “The Lunéville-Nancy sector was a major producer of fruit and vegetables 20 years ago. But demand and European competition contributed to the collapse of the markets.” A reconstruction that will take time, explains Laurent Rouyer.
“We need security and visibility for farmers and manufacturers who engage in this approach”. While the agricultural world is in crisis, Laurent Rouyer pleads for guarantees in terms of duration and financial balance.
