The All Saints’ Day holidays are gradually becoming a part of the French calendar. The period was the least popular of the year, but with the return of inflation, it benefits many French people. It’s time for good deals.
All Saints’ Day 2024: + 3.5% in reservations
The attraction for the All Saints’ Day holidays continues from year to year. These holidays remain an opportunity to go for an affordable price : the price differences with summer are very significant and can go from simple to double.
???? It must be said that although inflation is falling according to the latest macroeconomic indicators, it is still very present in the daily lives of the French. And so they act accordingly. Result : All Saints’ Day is popular.
The South, half cheaper on All Saints’ Day
At this time of year, the Southern destinations charge prices half as high as in summerbecause they struggle to attract tourists. Holidaymakers from the north of France, Ile-de-France residents in particular, are reluctant to travel long distances for a short vacation. Result: we observe almost similar prices whether in the North or the South.
Going to the South, like Languedoc, can cost less than Normandy.
Renting houses finally accessible
On the Côte d’Azur, during All Saints’ Day, the price of an apartment per week drops below the symbolic bar of €500. And for the houses, we go under the symbolic threshold of €1,000, renting a house being a forbidden luxury for many vacationers.

For these holidays, French people therefore maximize their chance of finding the sun on the way to the South. It is the southern coastal departments which record the strongest increases.
