The Senegalese Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, on Monday invited his compatriots to unite behind their government to help it succeed in its development strategy.

DAKAR, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) — Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko on Monday invited his compatriots to unite behind their government to help it succeed in its development strategy.

“With a determined people, nothing is impossible,” underlined Mr. Sonko, who spoke during a panel organized in Diamniadio, 30 km from Dakar, shortly after presenting the framework of the government’s public policies. , contained in a document entitled “Senegal 2050”.

”We are going to do a truth exercise, but we want the populations to carry it. Without the support of the populations, we will have no chance of success, because we plan for the people,” added Mr. Sonko, giving assurance that the approach of the Senegalese government in the conduct of its development policy will be ‘ ‘inclusive to the end’.
