We suffered attacks, incredible bashing during this campaign, as if Ecolo was the problem and, yet, the people of Ixelles made us the leading party in the municipality. I remain with my dignity and I am proud of the record at the head of the municipality“, declared Mr. Doulkeridis interviewed on the sidelines of a meeting of his party office.

Ecolo formed a majority with the socialists in Ixelles. “The PS has chosen today to give more space to conservative parties in a society that is becoming more right-wing, it’s a funny game,” notes the outgoing mayor.
