Vitaa has agreed to return to its privileged relationship with Jean-Jacques Goldman. The singer makes rare confidences on this subject.

This Friday October 11, 2024, Jean-Jacques Goldman celebrates his 73rd birthday. Although he has left the music scene for many years, the singer still remains in the hearts of his fans. Indeed, the artist is still considered the favorite personality of the French.

If he breaks the silence from time to time, Jean-Jacques Goldman now lives a peaceful daily life with his wife and loved ones. But for some artists, his journey is a real source of inspiration. in fact, for our colleagues from Le Parisien, the singer Vitaa looked back on her next years in the music industry. And she had indicated that she was thinking of retiring: I think this will be my last solo album. I turned 40. I have three children, and the creative process takes up a lot of my time. I’m not a performer who comes into the studio and is given a great song.” she confided, apparently very sure of herself.

And the rest of his professional life, Vitaa spoke about it with Jean-Jacques Goldman. “I really want to write for others. I had the privilege of speaking with Jean-Jacques Goldman all winter long, he’s so adorable and so simple“, revealed the one who was the victim of a violent burglary, grateful to have been able to speak with this great artist. “Like me, he has doubts. I would love to work with him. He told me he would like it too. Maybe one day we will do it, on a title…”, she shouted. On the occasion of Jean-Jacques Goldman’s birthday, some of his relatives agreed to break the silence. Like Erick Benzi, who was interviewed by our colleagues at BFMTV. And for him, “the stage was never the place where he was most comfortable,” he says about Jean-Jacques Goldman.

The singer’s retirement

From now on, it is on projects that are close to his heart that Michael Goldman’s father focuses: “He learned to love it while working, over time, so he took a lot of pleasure in doing it. But it’s not a lack”he continues. Unlike certain public figures, Jean-Jacques Goldman preferred to leave the media scene before : “It’s not like people who want to die on stage, because they need the gaze of others. He doesn’t need the gaze of others”. Having written songs for the greatest singers like Céline Dion or Johnny Hallyday, Jean-Jacques Goldman is now taking advantage of his personal life, left aside for too long.
