The graphological expertise ordered by the Béthune investigating judge would have made it possible to establish that there are, according to the daily newspaper, “many significant differences between graphic gestures” from Lindsay’s diary and those from the letter found under her mattress by her mother, several months before the events.
The outline of the words in the letter was also compared with school copies written by Lindsay’s best friend: the graphologist detected “many significant similarities” between these two writings. In his report, the specialist concludes that the letter was indeed written by the friend in question.
