At 10:24 p.m., account X of line 14 published the following message: “Due to precipitation, Porte de Clichy station is closed to the public. Trains pass without stopping. » This Tuesday morning, videos show that the station is still not passable.

On the social network X, several testimonies and videos have emerged to report on the situation. In particular, we see the station’s stairs almost completely covered in rainwater. A white and green strip was quickly installed on Monday evening by RATP services to prohibit users from taking the metro at this station.

This Tuesday morning, a new video shows brown water pouring from the ceiling of the station lobby. “Ptdrr well I don’t think there will be line 14 this morning,” laughs a user watching the scene.

To understand a little better the amount of precipitation that fell Monday evening, it is possible to rely on the Paris-Montsouris station, the official Météo station. According to his information, 11 mm of rain fell, or 11 liters per square meter. This measure corresponds to the equivalent of 20% of the total average for the month of October in the capital.
