On its Telegram channel, the NoName057 collective justified its attack by the donation to Ukraine, by Belgium, of three Caesar artillery units: “The Belgian government will soon examine a proposal for purchase and transfer to Ukraine. Ukraine of three Caesar artillery units (…) We decided to visit Russophobic Belgium in order to show it how the initiatives to support the criminal regime in kyiv end up.”

As a result of the attack, several websites were made temporarily inaccessible in the morning.

And the collective added: “On Sunday October 13, Belgium will hold important elections: citizens will choose their municipal councilors.” A barely veiled threat to disrupt the electoral meeting.
