Paris: you can now build Notre-Dame and Mona Lisa in LEGO

“A priceless piece of Parisian history” that everyone can now acquire for their home. The international firm of the famous LEGO construction game has just unveiled two new special Paris creations, which will be marketed from June 1st.

Wishing to shine a light on Paris, the Danish company offers construction enthusiasts the opportunity to reproduce the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral as well as Mona Lisa, the emblematic model of the painting The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. Both items have been available for pre-order since Tuesday on the LEGO website.

It is possible to afford these two parts of the heritage, however for a tidy sum. The LEGO Architecture Notre-Dame de Paris set is sold for €229.99 while the LEGO Art Mona Lisa, a little more accessible, still costs the sum of €99.99.

With its 4,383 pieces, the LEGO version of Notre-Dame Cathedral notably has a removable roof allowing you to admire the interior of the building. It allows you to admire the architectural details of the building such as the rose windows, the interior columns, the Gothic arches, and the two towers.

The most famous painting in the world has for its part been reproduced with colors supposed to be close to those used by the great master Leonardo da Vinci more than 500 years ago. The presence of a removable gold and lacquered frame allows the object, made up of 1,503 bricks, to be fixed to the wall.

The two pieces are added to the already existing Parisian collection. The Eiffel Tower can thus be reproduced for €629.99 and, more simply, Paris (with the Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse Tower or even the Arc de Triomphe) for €49.99. Lovers of art, history and construction once again have something to satisfy their Parisian LEGO treasure.
