Last week, Le Pays Briard informed you of the installation of a new radar on the D 603 between Saint-Jean-les-Deux-Jumeaux and Sammeron in Seine-et-Marne. The latter was precisely in front of the St-Jean cemetery, just before the right turn for Montretout and a little before the roundabout to enter the A4.

It was a autonomous or “construction site” radar, which can be moved at any time on the section. “The autonomous radars and decoys are moved along the route so that the position of control is variable,” the Government writes on its website.

Moved this Monday

According to a motorist, a median capable of accommodating this type of radar had also been created between Sammeron and Sept-Sorts. It was therefore not excluded that it would be moved to this location in the coming weeks.

And it’s been done since Monday, May 6. The radar was moved during the day to the exit of the town of Sept Sorts in the direction of Sammeron.

“This morning at 4:30 a.m., he was still in Saint-Jean, this afternoon at 1:15 p.m. he was in Sept-Sorts. Apparently, I think they will move it often,” wrote a motorist on social networks.

As a reminder, on this section, speed is limited to 80 km/h in both directions of traffic.
