Royal Air Maroc, which benefits from the title of “Official Carrier of Touba”, also confirms its support for events organized by the brotherhood internationally.

Finally, the establishment within Royal Air Maroc of a dedicated contact with Mourides representatives in each country where it is present will facilitate good cooperation and the quality of service offered to the community.

“We are extremely proud of the trust established between Royal Air Maroc and the Brotherhood of Mourides, one of the most powerful brotherhoods both in Senegal and throughout the Senegalese diaspora. The centuries-old relations between our two brother countries are based primarily on a sharing of values, those of an Islam of openness as promoted by Morocco under the enlightened Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assists. These values are also those which promote the vision of an Africa that is both faithful to its roots, to family and community solidarity, but also open to the future, the entrepreneurial spirit and the creation of wealth, through a determined south-south economic development. This partnership also confirms the pan-African vocation of the Royal Air Maroc Company, its permanent commitment to the promotion of religious tourism as well as constant support for all those who advance our continent, towards an Africa of progress,” indicated Hamid Addou , Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc.

This agreement marks the Company’s position of innovation and leadership at the regional level, Royal Air Maroc being the only carrier to have succeeded in consolidating a lasting agreement with a very influential community. The Company is thus continuing to strengthen its privileged partnerships in sub-Saharan Africa, and particularly in Senegal.
