The unmissable plant festival, organized by the commune of La Genevraye (Seine–et-Marne) in the hamlet of Cugny, will be held this Thursday, May 9.
For 17 years, Ascension Thursday has been the unmissable meeting place for plant and garden lovers.
In 2023, around sixty exhibitors were welcomed: nursery growers, horticulturists, experienced amateurs and collectors, furniture and tools, local products and artists.
Workshops all day
These professional and enlightened amateur exhibitors, accompanied by the presence of SMETOM and associations committed to nature, such as GENE (Ecological Group of Nemours and surrounding areas), can thus interact with an attentive public. This is the guarantee of the success of this day.
The artists and artisans of La Genevraye will also open their workshops during this day, to showcase their creations.
At the center of the route in the hamlet, and in several private spaces, visitors will find varied catering options offered by local traders and associations. Around 5,000 visitors are expected.
In Cugny Thursday May 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Refreshment bar and catering on site. Free entry and parking.
