After months of work and almost a year of delay, the old Corso cinema will soon open its doors. Renamed Korso, it should open at the end of June. The terrace and the catering section first then the cinema in September.

The establishment located on Boulevard de Pérolles in Friborg should be accessible by the start of summer, says Thierry Spicher, member of the association responsible for the rehabilitation project.

The opening of the Korso cinema postponed to early 2024

The orange sign, freshly installed, announces the color: Korso, Kino, Bar, Bier. The complex, made up of three cinemas, will offer films and catering. In German only? “The objective is also to attract a German-speaking audience and for this, we wanted to indicate this on the sign,” explains Thierry Spicher, specifying that the terrace and the restaurant should open at the end of June then the cinema in September.
