If you know the Princess coffeewhose brunch is undoubtedly one of the most desired in Paris, know that the same team just opened a new establishment right next door! We have therefore been testing this pretty dining cellar Basque style with the appearance of a Parisian bistro, which risks becoming a essential address from rue Bichat… Head to Marquis.

A new restaurant with an original menu

As soon as we arrived in this charming little cocoon with its raw decor, lit by a few candles and a red neon light, we immediately notice an important point: the short cardgenerally a guarantee of freshness and quality. In fact, around ten plates to share with evocative names that are already making our mouths water: bone marrow with Thai curry saucepork cheek and burnt leeks, or even crispy crab with its just toasted brioche and its smoked bacon… These original recipes totally won us over! The dishes are beautifully presentedgourmands, and we also loved the bread, crispy and butteredwhich is a delight…

A dining cellar with a fine selection of wines

The wine list offers good natural vintageslike Orange Against the Machine which is a falling for something. They are lovingly selected by Jules, Paul and Julian, the three friends behind Marquis, and perfectly accompany the dishes. To be enjoyed on the terrace, ideal with the return of sunny days. You will have understood, it is therefore a friendly addresswithout fuss, with good products, original dishes and affordable prices between €6 and €18 per plate, which we 100% recommend!
