A family from Gard is waiting for answers. Grégory, the youngest son of six children, left his home in Alès last Wednesday (May 1) claiming to have found work in the Dijon area. He was found almost naked and unconscious by hikers on Friday May 3 on the Chenôve plateau, his face swollen and his body marked by numerous traces of blows. The 22-year-old died the next day in hospital without regaining consciousness.
A bad encounter on social networks?
The blows received were violent. “His face was swollen, I had difficulty recognizing him.” explains his brother Alexandre, who was called to identify the body. “My brother didn’t know anyone in Dijon or Burgundy. We suppose he had a bad encounter through the social networks Tik Tok or Snapchat. He was a free spirit, but not to the point of getting involved in trafficking. He was not a dealer. For the moment, we are kept away from the investigation, it’s very hard, I feel destroyed, because we remain without answers.
