Born from the merger, at the end of 2016, of the CCIs of Brest, Morlaix and Quimper, the West Brittany Metropolitan CCI (CCIMBO) changes its name and becomes the CCI Finistère.
The decree was published on April 20. Voted at the general assembly by the elected representatives of the CCI on September 25, 2023, this name change is now official. The metropolitan CCI Brittany West is renamed CCI Finistère in order to ensure better reading and visibility of a name and an institution.
“ The new name is a great success for two reasons: firstly the method. Companies, partners, elected officials and staff were consulted on the subject and many gave their opinions. Then for the result: our CCI today bears the name Finistère, a name which will bring better notoriety to our role as a major player in business support, training and equipment managementserving businesses and the territory of 29! », exclaims Claude Ravalec, president of the CCI Finistère.
For all of its supporters, this new, more unifying name affirms a departmental unity, which represents the territory as a whole.
