Owners of dogs, cats, rabbits, or even parrots will be delighted. The French and European leader in pet stores, Maxi Zooopens a new store with an area of 500 m² on May 22, 2024, in Épinay-sur-Orge.

Voted best store chain in 2024

This new store, entirely dedicated to the well-being of pets, will be located in the Carrefour Market ZAC in Épinay-sur-Orge. It will be the 7th store of this type in the Essonne department, because the brand aims “to be less than 20 minutes from each animal owner”. It also wishes to “increase its territorial coverage and aims to open more than 50 new stores in 2024”.

For this opening, 4 people were recruited. “As soon as they arrive, new employees join the brand’s integration program, via a training course which extends over 2 years. Dog feeding, cat hygiene, care of small mammals, management, discovery of the brand and its products… The themes are multiple,” explains Maxi Zoo in a press release.

“Customers can choose from more than 4,000 kibble references, treats, food, accessories and toys, beds and even hygiene products. Many services complete the offer, including a weighing area, a Toutou bar with kibble and fresh water available and a candy market,” specifies the brand.

Note that the Maxi Zoo brand was voted “Best Store Chain of the Year 2024” in the “Pet Store-Animal Food” category. A title that the brand had already landed in 2023.

Practical information: Maxi Zoo Épinay-sur-Orge, ZAC Carrefour Market, 257 Chemin des Tourelles, La Prairie de Rossay. Open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
