Lausanne HC is in full swing. The Lausannois won their fourth success in a row and ended up defeating the EVZ in the third period.

Note that the Vaudois played this evening with a special “Play4Kids” jersey, imitating the Spider-man costume. This event aims to raise as much funds as possible through various actions for associations chosen by the club.

Everything started well once again for the LHC with Damien Riat opening the score in the 9th, assisted by the Finnish duo Oksanen and Suomela. Zug came back to score in the 15th minute through Leuenberger, before seeing the Lions regain the advantage once again, just 59 seconds after the start of the second third through Aurélien Marti, assisted by Rochette and Fuchs.

An eye-catching EVZ

However, this was not enough for the LHC to definitely take off in this meeting. Zug will equalize barely two minutes later through Kovar (22nd). Suomela, definitely in all the good moves this evening, will restore the advantage to the Vaudois in the 26th, allowing the LHC to finish the second third with a goal in advance.

But that was without taking into account the self-sacrifice of the Zougois players. The latter will equalize once again in the 43rd through Wingerli. The decision will finally be forced by Bozon in the 45th, Suomela (47th, 5 against 4) and Bougro (51st).

With this victory, the LHC climbs to second place in the National League, ahead of Rapperswil by a small point, 4-1 winner of Langnau.

On Saturday, the Lausannois will travel to Zurich to challenge the ZSC Lions. The opportunity for them to take their revenge after the defeat in the final against Zurich last season.
