A 13-year-old teenager was indicted and placed under judicial supervision for advocating terrorism, after being arrested and placed in police custody in Mont-Saint-Martin (Meurthe-et-), we learnedAgence France-Presse (AFP), TF1 Info et France info Friday October 4, 2024, from a police source.

An investigation lasting several months

The investigation began several months ago, when videos and other files linked to radical Islamism and terrorism were found on the phone of the teenager, of French nationality.

Since May 30, investigators from the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS) of Meurthe-et-Moselle have been seized of the case. They arrested him on Wednesday October 2. The Val-de-Briey prosecutor’s office had not made any comments on Friday afternoon.
