Less than two weeks after moving Quebec with their new album Royal Pubthe members of the Cowboys Fringants have just learned that a new honor awaits them: they will become members of the Ordre des arts et des lettres du Québec.

Jean-François Pauzé, Marie-Annick Lépine, Jérôme Dupras and the late Karl Tremblay are part of the new cohort of Compagne and Compagnon des arts et des lettres du Québec.
They will make their official entry into the Order during an insignia presentation ceremony which will take place on June 10 in Montreal.
Hélène Dorion, Claude Dubois, André Forcier, Linda Gaboriau, Rosie Godbout, Michel Goulet, Alice Ming Wai Jim, Menka Nagrani, Susie Napper, Louise Sicuro, Roland Smith and William Tagoona will also be honored during this ceremony which will mark the 10th anniversary of the creation of the Order of Arts and Letters.
In May 2023, Les Cowboys Fringants also received the Medal of Honor from the National Assembly of Quebec from Prime Minister François Legault.
