The small town of Verdun (Meuse) with its approximately 18,000 inhabitants is preparing to welcome a trio of fast food heavyweights, announces L’Est Républicain.

McDonald’s, KFC et Burger King settle or strengthen their presence (for those who were already present) in the urban area.

Verdun becomes a real playground for these global giants.

Burger King finally in Verdun

For Burger King, this is a first in the region. The fast-food restaurant, long awaited for several years, will take place at the Europe roundabout, and will replace the site of the former La Gargote restaurant. According to our colleagues, the work is estimated to take five months and could begin in the coming weeks.

McDonald’s voit double

McDonald’s is a familiar brand for Verdun residents. Since the “big yellow M” of McDonald’s has been present in the “Venice of the ” decor for almost 30 years, in the Dragon area. But in the race for fast food, McDonald’s does not intend to be left behind. A second opening is planned on the axis of the Galavaude roundabout.
