For the minister, this objective is at the heart of his department’s approach to strengthening the presence of Moroccan culture and know-how at international events, as is the case for the Village de la Francophonie which is experiencing a large influx of visitors of different nationalities.

“We have a very rich history. And on the occasion of each international event, the idea is to highlight our culture and our know-how,” underlined Mr. Bensaid.

Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the national pavilion offers visitors the opportunity to discover Moroccan cultural richness and diversity, with a program highlighting the singularity of Morocco’s heritage and its various initiatives in favor of development. sustainable.

Since its inauguration on Wednesday, it has been full of visitors, delighted to find themselves in this warm space marked by legendary Moroccan hospitality, embarking on a journey which begins with an exploration of the national tangible and intangible cultural heritage, including an augmented reality tour of the Kingdom’s historic sites.

The discovery of Morocco’s diversity continues with an exhibition of Fine Books devoted to the cultural and civilizational heritage of Morocco, as well as to the significant stages of its history, starting with the epic of the Green March to the projects of scale launched in recent years, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.

The stand also offers a ”Youth and Innovation” section, echoing this year’s theme of the Francophonie Summit which opens on Friday at the Cité internationale de la langue française at the Château de Villers-Cotterêts, north of Paris. , before continuing the next day at the Grand Palais in the French capital, under the theme: “Create, innovate and undertake in French”.

Until Sunday, the Village de la Francophonie invites you to visit the pavilions of dozens of French-speaking countries and regions within a colorful scenography, to interact with representatives of each country and to discover the richness of a multidisciplinary program mixing theater , concerts, immersive experiences, digital art, photography, cinema, dance or hip hop performances, meetings with inspiring and committed personalities, or even stand-up comedy with the best artists from the French-speaking world.

The village is designed as ”a window on the French-speaking world”, or even ”a place of exchange and cultural discoveries”, showcasing creativity and living arts from five continents.
