The news is not not happy as winter approaches. There medical home of Louvigné-du-Désert, near Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine), lost one of his practitioners.

Only 1.8 doctors left

This structure, managed by Fougères Agglomération, follows a special operation which made its success, which we reported on in 2022. It brings together around twenty health professionals, some of whom are employees by the Fougères Hospital Center. Three places are thus available for generalistsin employment or in private medicine, according to their preference.

But lately, the Dr Victor Gautierwho arrived last November after the departures of Doctors Besnard and Jouve, left the health home for personal reasons.

Faced with this situation, one of the two general practitioners who still occupy the health center has agreed to increase his working time on site at 80%. “So we passed from 2.6 doctors to 1.8 », Specifies David Chambon, director of Fougères hospital. ” But the objectiveremains to have three practitioners and we are therefore looking for a substitute . »

Under salaried status, this position allows the doctor to benefit from a fixed remuneration and to work in a more comfortable context, since he does not have to worry about the premises and can to exchange on a daily basis with colleagues of the structure. “But the reception of a doctor liberalis also possible, if it is a formula that the practitioner prefers,” adds David Chambon.
