“Fathers”, an evolution of family models

Designed from interviews conducted in the towns of and , this piece highlights the family dynamics contemporary by giving pride of place to the words of men. On stage, actors Laurent Barbot and Iannis Haillet successively embody a variety of father figures: from the authoritarian father to the father hen, including the absent paterfamilias.

This overview testifies to a profound evolution of family models and questions the very notion of masculinity. The two actors, through their nuanced acting, tell personal stories while weaving a link with societal issues.
