Despite the intervention of emergency services, a 65-year-old man died in a logging accident in Saint-Genest (Allier) this Wednesday, October 2.

Firefighters from Montluçon and Néris-les-Bains responded to a logging accident, in Saint-Genest (Allier) at a place called Crozat, this Wednesday, October 2, around 7:15 p.m.

Despite the intervention of the firefighters and SMUR of Montluçon, the 65-year-old man was declared dead.

Investigations underway Wednesday evening

The man being apparently alone at the time of the accident, the exact circumstances of the tragedy remained to be defined on Wednesday evening, the gendarmes continuing their investigations.
