130 years is worth celebrating! Of Friday October 11, 2024 to Sunday October 13, 2024the 6th engineer regiment celebrates its 130th anniversary this year in Angers (Maine-et-Loire).

For this anniversary, you will have the opportunity to see the know-how of the regiment in the heart of the city of Angers through numerous demonstrations.

The program

Friday October 11, 2024:

• 9 a.m.: school race (Lake Maine)
• from 10 a.m. and all day: dynamic demonstrations from the marine engineers (Maine) and Aubade from the fanfare (downtown)
• 8 p.m.: military history conference (Arts and Crafts Campus).

Saturday October 12, 2024:

• 9 a.m.: inter-company race (Lac de Maine)
• from 10 a.m. and all day: dynamic demonstrations from the marine engineers (Maine) and Aubade from the fanfare (downtown)
• from 2 p.m.: obstacle course – all ages (Lac de Maine)
• 7 p.m.: military ceremony (Quai Tabarly)
• 8:45 p.m.: prestige evening (Jean Lurçat museum).

Sunday October 13, 2024:

• From 10 a.m. and all day: dynamic demonstrations from the marine engineers (Maine) and Aubade from the fanfare (downtown).

Throughout this great weekend you will have the opportunity to see exhibitions and military shows throughout downtown Angers.
