A gesture of humanity and solidarity…Prince Hicham thanks King Mohammed VI

Prince Hicham Alaoui expressed his deep gratitude to King Mohammed VI for having made it possible to reunite his Lebanese family on the side of his mother, Princess Lamia Solh, widow of the late Prince Moulay Abdellah, in a gesture of humanity and solidarity . This family reunification, in these difficult times, was a real relief for the Prince, while Lebanon is going through a tragic crisis.

In a publication on his Facebook page, Prince Hicham spoke with pain of the dramatic situation of his “second country”Lebanon. “My eyes are filled with tears, my heart is torn, and my soul suffers from the loss of life and the destruction that is hitting our dear Lebanon”he wrote.

In the same message, which he accompanied with a photo of the King with his mother, Lamia Solh, he also underlined the seriousness of the situation by recalling that to date, a million people have been displaced.

However, in the midst of this tragedy, the Prince expressed his gratitude to King Mohammed VI, whose hospitality allowed his Lebanese family to be welcomed in Rabat.

“What eases our pain is the welcome of our Lebanese family among ours in Rabat,” declared Prince Hicham, while welcoming the efforts of the “courageous individuals who worked tirelessly” to facilitate this regrouping.
