Emil Frey France opens its portfolio to the Chinese manufacturer BYD to distribute its products in the center and west of France, before launching towards the north of the country. At the same time, the distributor is inaugurating a second Autosphere Center site.

After BYmyCAR, Kroely, Bodemer, Chopard, Maurin And Sipa, Emil Frey Francevia its Autosphere network, will distribute BYD on French territory. The contract covers the central and central-western areas of France, territories which were until now not covered by the Chinese brand.
The La Teste-de-Buch (33) and Poitiers (86) sites will therefore open in May 2024. Tours (37), Niort (79) and Clermont-Ferrand (63) will follow within a few weeks.

Established throughout the country, Emil Frey France will also soon represent the brand in Hauts-de-France, in the former Champagne-Ardenne region and again in the Grand Ouest. In total, four major areas in France will be covered by the Autosphere network concessions.
The La Teste-de-Buch dealership, in the Arcachon basin, is located in an area dedicated to automobiles, near an Autosphere center. The one in Poitiers is located in the network’s Automobile Village, in Poitiers South, bringing together 13 automobile brands and all associated services over 107 hectares.
Autosphere Center
In La Teste-de-Buch, it is not just a BYD dealership. Originally, this site was dedicated to Peugeot, before Emil Frey France sold the panel to the Deluc group last fall.
In addition to a space for the Chinese brand, the distribution group has inaugurated a second Autosphere Center site to market used cars. With a more modest surface area than the first located in Nantes, this center will have a fleet of 80 vehicles to attract local customers.
Parts sales
The sale of spare parts finds a place in this set. According to information from our colleagues atArgus ProEmil Frey France seized the opportunity to add the specialized brand, Barrault.
And in this logic of service diversity, Atlante will also take up residence there, as part of the national agreement concluded at the end of March 2024 with the distribution group. Thus, the operator of high-power charging stations will set up a station in line with the BYD range, accessible to all drivers. (with Gredy Raffin)
