Orange (The Voice) glad to have left? His surprising confidences on the show

This Saturday, April 27, the first part of the Cross Battle of the thirteenth season of The Voice took place. A crucial stage of the show where each time two candidates from different teams compete. As time goes by, the talents of Big Flo & Oli, Vianney, Mika and Zazie are less and less numerous in view of the grand finale.

And one of the candidates from the Mika team, who left the competition following his Cross Battle said to himself “ relieved. » He explains during an interview for Télé 7 Jours.

His journey in The Voice: “It was just enough for me”

Orange, Mika’s talent, performed Jeanne Mas’ hit “En rouge et noir” opposite Baptiste Sartoria, Vianney’s talent. The latter chose the title of Michel Berger “Diego, free in his head”. A successful bet since it was he who continued the adventure on Saturday evening with 80% of the votes.

An end to the adventure which does not seem to bother the young Orange, aged 20. “ I didn’t have big ambitions in The Voice. Getting this far was just enough for me. Besides, the first time they contacted me to offer me castings, I refused. I was quite suspicious and afraid. I reconsidered my decision after talking about it to those around me and I put aside my preconceptions » explains Orange. He believes that Baptiste “ really deserves its place“.

The young artist explains that he was a little ill during this ordeal: “ I had the end of a cold. So my voice faltered at one point. It happens, we deal with it. » Orange still keeps the positive : “It was a great exercise because I’m not really used to singing French. »

Orange’s projects after The Voice

Mika’s talent explains that he had a bad experience of the Battles because ” This is the most complicated stage, you find yourself against someone you end up liking. I spent a lot of time rehearsing with Lance (…) It was difficult to win. I had a hard time savoring the victory, I was sad that Lance was eliminated. I was very disappointed that he wasn’t drafted. » he tells Télé 7 Jours.

After its adventure in the musical TV show on TF1, Orange has projects and desires: “ I would like to play rock in French and English, and perhaps one day export myself internationally. I would like that a lot. I do a lot of studio work and gigs from time to time. I hope to release a project in the next few months. »
