In the ranks of Stade Poitevin, the tenure, with the captain’s armband as a bonus, of Hugo Da Silva, was a nice nod. As a reminder, the Stade midfielder is none other than the son of Luis Da Silba, the emblematic coach of the Portuguese Châtellerault.
A great story for the No. 6 from Poitiers, moved to play against the club that saw him grow up and happy to find his dad on the bench of the opposing team for this 4e Coupe de France round played on Saturday September 28, 2024 at the Montée-Rouge stadium in Châtellerault.
Poitiers quickly kills the suspense

In the second half, the Poitevins accelerated noticeably to close the match quickly. Savane, who entered at half-time, anticipated Baudin’s exit after only thirty seconds of play (0-3, 46e) and Marques took advantage of a perfect service from Marchegay to also score (0-4, 51e).
It became too difficult for the residents of Departmental 1, in physical difficulty even before the hour mark and who conceded a fifth goal by Jaques (0-5, 57e). It could not be otherwise, the son Hugo Da Silva scored in his turn with a beautiful curled shot (0-6, 65e).

A week after its great victory in the championship in Chartres (1-4), SO Châtellerault (National 3) fell from high this Saturday in the Coupe de France.
