A prison guard was attacked Thursday evening at his home in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) by three armed individuals, the Bobigny prosecutor’s office announced on Saturday. “At 10:45 p.m., several individuals, three, participated in the attack on the prison guard at his home” indicated the public prosecutor.
The victim agent, born in 1983, was injured by “several blows to the face”, and his partner, born in 1989, “is shocked but not injured, according to information transmitted by the Bobigny prosecutor’s office which specifies that “no No other person was in the home at the time of the incident. »
Threats related to the agent’s work
Before leaving the apartment, the attackers made “threats related to the agent’s work”, added the prosecution without elaborating further on the content of the comments made. The attackers, masked, had a handgun in their possession when they entered the house of the agent who works at the Santé prison in Paris.
An investigation was opened into violence and threats with weapons against a person holding public authority and entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police. No arrests have yet been made.
In a short video of the attack that AFP was able to view, we see a man advancing in a corridor towards a masked figure before being brought back to the ground by a woman who screams “Help” then “Stop” repeatedly. In the image, a hand then appears very briefly holding a weapon, probably held by the author of the video.
In a press release, the FO Justice union reports that the attackers rang the bell at the prison officer’s home before entering by force. One of the individuals allegedly used the butt of his gun to knock the victim to the ground. “After the tragedy of Incarville last May, the threat to staff is more and more violent, now the thugs have no limits,” deplores the union organization.
