THE festival committee of Douvrend (Seine-Maritime), with the participation of theveterans associationorganizes Wednesday 1er May 2024 blessing ceremony of tractors and farmers in the village.

Patronized by Saint-Joseph, who watches over the workers of the land, this festival open to the public has become a true tradition in the town and its surroundings.

All tractor owners welcome

It was first introduced in 1956.

Anyone with an agricultural tractor can take part in the parade. All you have to do is show up at the wheel of your machine before the start of the parade. Decorations are not obligatory, but make the event more welcoming.

Tractors are invited to assemble at 10 a.m. in a pasture located at the entrance to the village. The opportunity for spectators to stroll through the aisles to contemplate the agricultural machinery of yesterday and today.

THE father Romuald will celebrate the religious service under a barnum mounted on the Town Hall Square at 10:30 a.m.

Parade begins at 11:30 a.m.

At 11:30 a.m., the parade of tractors of all ages will begin. Each machine will proudly parade through the streets of the village and will be blessed by Father Romuald as it passes the church. The machines will then arrive on the football field, next to the multipurpose room.

The drivers and those present will be invited to share a friendly drink and to hand over the prizes. Following the friendly drink, a meal will be served to those who have reserved their place.
