A 38-year-old woman was sentenced by the court (Haut-Rhin), Thursday September 26, 2024, to six months suspended prison sentence, as well as a ban on contacting her stepdaughter for three years.

She was found guilty of harassing the young girl, aged 15 at the time, on social networks. She would have incited her to suicide and insulted her, reports Alsace .

A climate of war between the two women

During the hearing, the defendant spoke of a climate of ” war “ between her and the teenager, who allegedly posted photos of her accompanied by unflattering comments. She would have filed complaints against the young girl for damage and defamation, but these would have been dismissed.

The thirty-year-old will have to pay a fine of €400, and pay €1,000 in damages to the victim, who says she “completely traumatized”.
