Millau. A concert in the colors of South Aveyron and the Olympic torch relay

Saturday May 4 at 8:30 p.m., at the Théâtre de la Maison du Peuple in Millauthe Harmony Orchestra of South Aveyron, made up of 45 musicians and Sud’Av Band, a big band and its 19 musicians, two groups each bearing the colors of South Aveyron in their identity title, invites you to an exceptional concert.

In the first part, under the direction of Xavier Durandthe Harmony Orchestra will take you on a journey to several continents before giving way to the Jazz/Blues ensemble of José Terral, whose reputation is well established.

Positioned thus in the calendar, the meaning given to this concert, backed by the traditional festivals/fairs of Saint-Affrique the next day and those of Millau on May 6, is intended to be a first and as such takes on, through the music, a dimension unifying territory embodied by the two groups, each of which has long included musicians from both cities in their ranks.

Beyond this theme dedicated to South Aveyron, this evening will be framed by the program of activities which will precede this exceptional event which is the passing of the Olympic flame on May 13 in Millau.

A musical moment not to be missed, setting the tone for these two highlights, heralding a lovely month of May, full of two consecutive days of unmissable local fairs in South Aveyron and bearing the imprint of the Olympic Games.
