Mauritania and Gambia, President Diomaye will go to Bissau

The new President of the Republic will take to the air again! recent visits to Mauritania and the Gambia, the Head of State, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, will visit his Guinea-Bissau counterpart.

This will be President Diomaye Faye’s third trip abroad after taking power on April 2. Following his visit to Mauritania and the Gambia, Head of State Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye is expected in Guinea-Bissau on April 30, according to information from Exclusive. This visit will provide the opportunity for both countries to re-examine certain agreements.

The Head of State was entitled, last week, to warm welcomes in Nouakchott and Banjul. Installed in office on April 2, Bassirou Diomaye Faye visited his Mauritanian and Gambian counterparts successively on April 18 and 20, 2024. As he reminded his government during the Council of Ministers on Wednesday April 24, the objective of these visits was to strengthen good neighborly relations with border countries.
