Facing eight other nations, it was France which won this Saturday April 27 the new acrobatic kite competition organized during the Berck-sur-Mer International Meetings.
A feared French team
On the podium of this competition, entitled “World Kite Cup Berck-sur-Mer”, France is ahead of the Netherlands and Germany, the organizers report on their Facebook page.
“Throughout the cup, these champions performed breathtaking performances and multiplied demonstrations in the world capital of kite flying,” explains the Berck-sur-Mer International Kite Meetings.
The French team was particularly feared by other nations since several great champions – of the world and of Europe – are part of it. They received their prize in front of the public in the afternoon on the Place de l’Entonnoir.
The 37th Berck-sur-Mer International Kite Meetings continue until Sunday April 28, the last day of the event.
