While work is often criticized for being excessively slow, it should also be noted when it is completed early. The prefect of Hauts-de-Seine, Laurent Hottiaux, has just announced that the A13 motorway will reopen one day before the planned date, i.e. Friday May 10, 2024 in the afternoon, still in the Province-Paris direction.
Full reopening at the end of June
In a press release, the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture explains that “the early end of the asphalt work […] allows traffic to reopen. » It is to be hoped that the mixture used is hot mix, in order to resist as well heavy rain and traffic which will flow onto this structuring road of the Ile-de-France network.
The open traffic axis (Province-Paris) however remains unchanged. And on the latter, only one lane will be available for motorists.
Furthermore, not all vehicles will be able to circulate: “The ban on heavy goods vehicles is maintained,” specifies the prefecture. Only light vehicles will be allowed to drive. As for the reopening of all lanes, in both directions of traffic, the public authorities speak of the “end of the month of June“.
