This Sunday morning, Riad’s weather report for Senegal announces a continuation of the rainy conditions observed since the day before. Here is the detailed forecast for the different regions of the country:
Regions concerned:
– Center : The regions of Kaffrine, Kaolack, Fatick, Diourbel, as well as Gambia should experience isolated showers of varying intensity, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms in places.
– Coastline : Light to moderate rainfall is expected along the coast, particularly in Dakar, with intermittent showers at times.
– North : In the regions of Saint-Louis and Louga, more intense rains are expected, particularly in the department of Podor, where significant downpours could occur.
– South : The regions of Ziguinchor, Sédhiou, and Kolda will also be affected by moderate showers.
– South-Eastt: Fairly dense cloud cover is expected, with some localized showers in the regions of Kédougou, Tambacounda, as well as in eastern Gambia.

Sky over Dakar and the small coast
Moderate showers will continue in Saly Bay and Dakar, although there will be no wind or major storms. The Dakar-Gorée crossing is not dangerous, but walkers on the small coast are advised to provide shelter in case of rain, such as restaurants, straw huts, or beach houses.
