Versailles: why are the Yvelines firefighters going to demonstrate tomorrow?

A large part of the Yvelines firefighters have planned to manifest tomorrow, Friday April 26, 2024, in Versailles. In front of and around the prefecture, the firefighters intend to make their voices heard on several points.

The first concerns the prime linked to the Olympic Games, promised by the Ministry of the Interior. Amounting 1900 euros, as for the police, it would not yet be officially recorded.

Overactivity

Inter-union, the firefighters also intend to denounce a overactivity operational. In other words, too many daily missions, some of which do not always require their presence.

The demands also relate to the evolution of their compensation plan.

Scheduled for late morning, the demonstration could last until the afternoon. It is therefore recommended to regulars of Avenue de Paris to get around the axis if possible.
