At the start of spring, Radios Libres en Périgord received the board of directors of the regional ARCOM, who came on April 11 to discover the radio’s actions within the framework of Media and Information Education ( NDE).
Coincidentally, the visit coincided with the holding of a regular workshop by the prevention club Le Chemin which, since December, has been preparing programs with the young people it follows. This public, by essence difficult to stabilize and in search of its future path, nevertheless finds itself hooked by this activity, and the young people have developed an ease and gifts which surprised the members of the ARCOM (Regulatory Authority of audiovisual and digital communication). They rapped live, especially for them, to show their technical knowledge, their ability to hold a structured discussion with administrators, and showed a lot of curiosity for ARCOM’s missions.
For this event, the municipality of Coulounieix-Chamiers was present, in the person of Philippe Moreau, deputy for works and town planning. Le Chemin is an essential partner in urban policy for RLP in its desire to open its airwaves to all those we never see, to the invisible, to the voiceless. The April workshop is is held from April 10 to 12 in the RLP studios, and Mic Punch 3 (this is the third broadcast) was broadcast on Thursday, April 18 at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 20 at 12 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 at 9 a.m.
