It’s a boost for the wallet. With the support of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts and the Chamber of Agriculture, the Vaucluse CCI is launching its gift voucher project, Horizon commerce. They will be valid in local shops and services in the department, with a maximum amount of 193 euros. Since May, the CCI teams have been presenting this project to the department’s traders: 500 shops have already joined.
An offer that the CCI wants to develop to the greatest number and in particular to businesses. This is why it invited the associations and interprofessional organizations of the department to make this initiative known: “We know that times are tough and if each of us can give our employees a little helping hand with these checks, they will be able to afford a good Christmas meal. It can only…accelerate the economy of Vaucluse“ explains Gilles Mezari, administrator of MEDEF Vaucluse.
Keeping wealth in the territory
For Gilbert Marcelli, the president of the CCI Vaucluse, this initiative will above all allow re-energize the city centers and villages of the department. “The Vaucluse product must be highlighted. We must exploit and consume local products, so that the wealth remains in our territory.”
The Vaucluse Chamber of Commerce and Industry now has two objectives: 1,000 businesses registered in this system and 200,000 euros of orders gift certificates for the end of year celebrations.
