Raid: Chaumié students on their way to France

Raid: Chaumié students on their way to France
Descriptive text here

The school is involved in the “En route vers les Jeux” project. This allowed, in addition to the organization of Olympics for all students, the intervention of a multitude of high-level athletes at the school as well as the investment of students in interdisciplinary work around the Olympic Games.

For 2 years, with the help of Stéphane Rodriguez and François Monestes from the PSNO club (Pôle sports nature orientation de Castelculier et Saint-Pierre-de-Clairac), students have been preparing for different outdoor activities such as orienteering and raids.

On April 9 and 10 in Port-Sainte-Marie, the students brilliantly qualified for the French school championships which will take place in the academy from June 4 to 6 (Poncin in Ain). At the end of a 60-kilometer team race combining different activities such as mountain biking, orienteering, canoeing, run and bike and laser run, the students won second qualifying place for the national championships. A great sporting and human adventure.

A call for financial support

In order to be able to participate in these championships, students need to secure funding and are calling for contributions, however modest, from the public in order to fill the budget.

Hoping that these college students will be able to carry the Agen colors high!
