From Wednesday May 8 to Sunday May 12, Dompierre will vibrate to the rhythm of Broyard music. The 101st edition named “Au fil de l’Arbogna”, organized by the company of Domdidier, Dompierre and Russy, was designed on the theme of the river. Among the copious menu of festivities, a “Beer Festival” on Friday evening with the presence of the Austrian group Alpin Vagabunden. To participate, and taste the garnished sauerkraut, you must register on the Giron website. The competition for companies will open on Saturday morning and the traditional banquet will be served on Sunday before the departure of the procession which will bring together the brass bands of La Broye and the societies of the villages of the commune of Belmont-Broye.
The organizing committee also announces that payments will be made without cash, via a rechargeable bracelet. Except for the lottery on Wednesday evening and the refreshments along the procession.
