The Belgian rapper did not hesitate to thank the DUC.
If Booba is currently freewheeling on his social networks, having a series of clashes with several artists, there is one who is doing well and that is Hamza. Indeed, The DUC has not been kind to the Belgian rapper in recent years. Last year, in the middle of Fashion Week, the interpreter of “Caramel” openly criticized the flow of Hamza, dressed as a cowboy :
“CIt’s all well and good to want to shine at Fashion Week but take image agents and stylists because that’s really a fiasco. Continue to follow Pharell Williams who is not even a designer and will take you into the ravine”
Just a few weeks ago, Booba reacted to the featuring between SDM and the interpreter of “Free YSL” from Ocho’s new album. Before the clip was released, the 47-year-old rapper said:
“I’m waiting for the sound with the little cowboy”
A dig that still referred to her outfit at the previous edition of the fashion event.
“I had preconceptions”
But this quarrel could well and truly be ancient history. Indeed, Booba announced on his Instagram story that he had met the Belgian. The artist from 92 admits to having been wrong about Hamza:
“JI had the opportunity to meet Hamza, I had my preconceptions… A mistake on my part, I met a man, a passionate person, a genius. The rest is HISTORY!!!”
A message that pleases and that the 30-year-old artist did not hesitate to respond by thanking the DUC :
After a reconciliation, a collaboration? In any case, imagining the talent of the two rappers, we say yes straight away!
