The 2024 CB News Grand Prix des Médias awarded its “editorial or journalistic coup” prize to ELLE for its investigation into the Gérard Miller affair. Our journalists had collected the words of nearly a hundred women.

On Tuesday, September 3, ELLE magazine received the CB News Media Prize for “editorial or journalistic coup” for its investigation into star psychoanalyst Gérard Miller, accused of sexual violence. Chaired by Alexandra Chabanne, director of GroupM France, the 26e edition of the Grand Prix des Médias wanted to salute the investigative work of ELLE journalists Alice Augustin and Cécile Ollivier.

On January 30, ELLE published a three-part journalistic investigation devoted to the Gérard Miller affair. Our journalists collected 67 testimonies, including five reporting rape and 22 sexual assaults, attempted approaches or inappropriate behavior on the part of the psychoanalyst. All of which outlined a real modus operandi. These women confided in ELLE for the first time.
