Every good thing comes to an end. 48 hours before the grand final of the “Star Academy” which they both hope to win, Marine and Ebony packed their bags on Thursday evening and left the castle of Dammarie-Les-Lys for good. It is with a pang in the heart that the two artists, whose first singles “Ma fault”, which contains errors, and “Unforgettable” are already available, took a last look at the building which will have seen them grow and evolve for three months. “ There are details that I don’t remember anymore. Can you imagine? Three and a half months, you don’t remember every minute you lived either » said Marine near the bus while Ebony spotted an intriguing detail: “ It turns out that this will remind us of things? ». « There is a screen in front of us, we can’t pretend! Everyone sees it » agreed Marine, amused by her comrade’s naivety.

And the two finalists were right! Suddenly the spotlights illuminating the lawn went out, and Marine and Ebony then rediscovered the images of their arrival at the castle of Dammarie-Les-Lys, on the night of October 12, 2024, then the best moments of their adventure, between fits of laughter , moments of doubt, lessons with teachers, rehearsals, evaluations, blunders of all kinds and above all the birth of a solid friendship between the 15 academicians. A retrospective full of emotion which captured Marine, very sensitive, to the heart. The young artist from the North let out a few sobs as she measured the path traveled until this famous final which will pit her against Ebony tomorrow evening. Her friend also let tears flow down her cheeks! “ It’s become a bit like a second family » we hear Marine say in the confessional, while the collegiate resounds on “We” which they had all sung together in front of Julien Doré.
