With the arrival of the Bordeaux Brass Sextet and a world premiere “Jazz Panorama” by Sébastien Iep Arruti, the Brass Band Côtes et Cuivres by Jérôme Carré did not miss its return, Sunday January 19, at the Vox. This musical afternoon was co-organized with the local music school of Emmanuel Thierry’s Harmonie des Hauts de Gironde. There were plenty of people at this first meeting of the year, which will continue on March 23 for the Printemps du Tuba near Lormont. A musical season defined by the musicians themselves as “adventurous”, as well as the creation of a new concert designed and created by the illustrator Maxime Garcia, on Friday April 11 in Floirac, entitled “Block Brasster”. After playing “Jazz Panorama”, the Brass Band Côtes et Cuivres concluded with “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” by John William and Ray Farr, always in a nod to the theme of the year.
