Located on Saint-Urbain Street, Brama is an Italian restaurant where quality ingredients are always in the spotlight. The room, both intimate and welcoming, is ideal for hosting both small groups and large tables, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Behind this project, we find John Hanna (formerly at Ristaurante Beatrice), who launched the adventure in 2020. Initially, the address was focused on the take-out service, with great success. Recently, Brama opened a room that can accommodate around fifty guests. The decor, refined and stylish, creates an atmosphere reminiscent of the comfort of home. The name “Brama”, meaning “desire” in Italian, reflects the restaurant’s objective: to satisfy its customers’ desires with comforting and authentic dishes.

In the kitchen, chef John Hanna has designed an Italian menu that will satisfy all your desires. With a focus on high-quality ingredients, Brama offers a variety of dishes divided into five categories: Antipasti, Insalate, Pasta and Pizza, and Carne. During our visit, we had several favorites: the enormous portion of grilled octopus at only $28, the classic Caesar salad, and especially the hearty Cavatelli made with ricotta, braised beef cheeks, mushroom sauce with truffle and fior di latte — a pure delight!! The pizzas are also excellent, as are the desserts, which are a must. Special mention to Chef John’s famous cheesecake, available with pistachio or hazelnut.

The dishes are perfect for sharing, thanks to their generous portions, but you can also opt for a more classic meal with starter, main course and dessert. Prices range from $16 to $36, with slightly more expensive meat options. Overall, the prices are very affordable considering the quality and quantity of the dishes offered.

On the drinks side, Brama offers a selection of classic cocktails that will please as many people as possible, as well as some original creations. The wine list, for its part, offers around twenty mainly European options. With bottles priced between $45 and $150, with the majority hovering around $55, there is something for all tastes and budgets.

Brama brings together all the elements of a successful dining experience: authentic cuisine, generous portions, affordable prices and a warm atmosphere. An address to try without hesitation!
