Let’s leave this winter gray to look ahead to the menu of 2025 celebrations. Parties, festivals, trade fairs, sporting and cultural events… Here are fifteen ideas for outings near you, around Saint-Malo and Dinard, between now and the end of year.
From January 18 to February 23: Sainte-Ouine
It’s impossible to kick off the year without mentioning the great Saint-Malo funfair. Sainte-Ouine, the 98th of its name, will place its rides and other attractions at the foot of the ramparts for a little over five weeks. It traditionally opens on Wednesday afternoon, Friday evening and afternoons and evenings on weekends, as well as afternoons during school holidays.
From January 31 to February 2: the Saint-Malo country fair
This will be a great first. The Saint-Malo country will now have its fair. The very first edition of the Pays de Saint-Malo fair is organized by the Pays de Saint-Malo Commerce Federation, quai Saint-Malo, for three days. We are expecting more than a hundred exhibitors and numerous activities around this multi-activity fair, “in the image of the region”, say the organizers.
From April 24 to 27: the boat show
It’s the return of a boat show in Saint-Malo, the last one having had the cup. Placed this time under the leadership of the CCI and its partners, “Le Nautique de Saint-Malo” must bring together 150 exhibitors and 200 boats at Quai St-Malo.
April 25 and 26: the start of the Tour of Brittany
Saint-Malo will rhyme with cycling in 2025. Before the Tour de France this summer, the Saint-Malo country will host the Tour de Bretagne. The first stage of the 58th edition will take place from Hirel on Friday April 25 and will end in La Fresnais. The second stage, on April 26, will start from La Gouesnière.

Well-known comedians and new laughter talents meet in Dinard for three days of fun. This will already be the 26th edition of an event which is frankly good for the zygomatics. In the same vein, note that the comedian Bérengère Krief will be performing in Dinard on February 22.
From June 7 to 9: Astonishing Travelers
The most beautiful literary festival open to the world returns for a 35th edition to Saint-Malo. In a world turned upside down, this cultural and humanist event has its place more than ever. It is an opportunity to listen and discuss with some 150 writers, photographers, filmmakers and artists.
June 14 and 15: Dinard elegance
After an edition which brought together 6,000 spectators in June 2023, the Dinard Élégance, a vintage vehicle competition, returns for a weekend. This competition, invented in 1921, was brought up to date in 2018. And a century later, it still fascinates just as much.
June 14: the corsair festival in Saint-Malo
The event which is to launch the summer season in the streets of Saint-Malo returns for a fun and festive fifth edition.
-July 11: the Tour de France in Saint-Malo
It will be the event of the summer in Saint-Malo. The seventh stage of the cycling Tour de France will start from the corsair city on Friday July 11, bound for Mûr-de-Bretagne. These images will be broadcast in front of millions of viewers and potentially shared in the 190 countries broadcasting the race.
July 20: Dinard fireworks
It was one of the hits of last summer. 40,000 spectators attended the fireworks in Dinard and the Synapson duo’s show on August 28. Next summer, the pyrotechnic show financed by the town hall and the Barrière casino which sponsors the arrival of a renowned artist will be brought forward to July 20. That of Saint-Malo, not yet confirmed, must be drawn on July 13 or 14.
From July 24 to 27: Dinard jumping
The greatest show jumping riders in the world will gallop at the Val Porée equestrian stadium for what will be the… 113th edition of the Dinard show jumping event. The Breton event, broadcast on the Bein channel last year, is a real event in the equestrian world with nearly a million prizes at stake and thousands of spectators present each year.
